The Kings County property is a 320 acre parcel approximately one hour north of Bakersfield California. It is located near Interstate 5, a major North/South freeway that connects the State of California from San Diego to the Oregon border.
This property has several uses, among them dry farming for wheat and several other grain crops. It also can allow livestock grazing and recreational uses as needed. The property has been producing for many years, but does rely on the weather for water sources which can dictate the production.
Another exciting development is the proposed California High Speed rail route is directly east of our property and may spur future development in the area. At one point there had even been a proposed new town development directly north of our property. We will continue to farm the property until other opportunities present themselves for economic development.
